There are 5 different products in the Juvéderm® “family” of dermal fillers. Juvéderm® Ultra is used for lines and wrinkles, while Juvéderm® UltraPlus and Juvéderm® Voluma are used to create “lift” and replace volume and fullness. Tiny superficial lines are treated with a very fine type of Juvéderm® while the newest member of the Juvéderm® family improves skin texture and hydration with a combination of hyaluron and a potent antioxidant.
Dermal Fillers used at FaceWorks
The dermal fillers used at FaceWorks (Juvéderm®, Restylane, Voluma) are all temporary and safe hyaluronic acid gels. These hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are natural injectable gels which act as a skin “filler”. They are all a complex sugar (hyaluronic acid or HA) which is found naturally within the tissues of the body, including skin. The different types of hyaluronic acid filler used at FaceWorks all have different methods of manufacture, and all have different properties when injected. For instance, some fillers are better at “lifting” and plumping while others are preferable for fine lines and improving skin texture.
