|Dr Teresa Cattin, MBBCh (Wits), FRNZCGP, FRACGP, FNZCAM:
Dr Teresa Cattin is one of NZ’s most experienced cosmetic physicians with over 20 years experience. Dr Cattin established FaceWorks clinic and developed her own skincare range of the same name in 2001. Dr Cattin is one of only three physician trainers for Allergan, the makers of BOTOX and Juvederm, and has been teaching other doctors throughout NZ, Australia and Asia-Pacific for over 15 years. Dr Cattin is regularly invited to lecture and run teaching workshops throughout Asia - Pacific including India, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Korea. She is also the immediate past-President of the NZ College of Appearance Medicine (now called the New Zealand Society of Cosmetic Medicine) which she was instrumental in setting up.
To ensure Dr Cattin is up to date with the latest trends in cosmetic medicine, she attends international conferences in Europe every year. Dr Cattin regularly spends time with colleagues in France as she prefers “La French Touche” - the French style of cosmetic enhancement which gives beautifully subtle and natural looking results. The French approach is to enhance the natural beauty of the face, enhancing positive features rather than attempting to completely conceal the normal signs of ageing. This means that when you have a treatment at FaceWorks, nobody needs to know - you will just look like a “fresher” version of you.
Leigh Cattin, Registered Nurse:
Leigh has five years experience as a Registered Nurse and is due to graduate from medical school at the beginning of 2021. She intends to train as a General Practitioner and continue her work in Appearance Medicine as a doctor.
Leigh is well-versed in "La French Touche" and she understands the long term benefits of small amounts of BOTOX to prevent deeper lines from forming while keeping a beautifully natural looking result.
Leigh undertakes regular training with Dr Teresa Cattin and Allergan trainers and attends workshops in the use of BOTOX and Juvederm fillers to enhance the face's features in a natural, youthful way.
She has regularly attended the New Zealand Society of Cosmetic Medicine's Annual Conference in Queenstown to stay up to date with current technologies and techniques and recently attended Allergan's NZ launch of BELKYRA, and attended the AMWC Conference in Monaco in 2019.
Stella Wilkins, Registered Nurse:
Stella is a highly experienced Cosmetic Nurse with over 14 years experience in BOTOX and fillers as well as skin rejuvenation treatments. Stella regularly attends international conferences to ensure she is up to date, accompanying Dr Cattin to Paris to learn “La French Touche” first hand. Stella believes “total face assessment” is vital to achieve perfect results for her clients and loves to personally assess and advise each client on which facial rejuvenation treatments and skincare could be right for them, identifying any areas of concern and helping them to achieve their goals.
Stella also regularly attends training workshops in the latest treatments and procedures, the annual NZSCM Conference in Queenstown, and attended the AMWC Conference in Monaco in 2019.
